Terms of Service
By using AI Social Care (aisocialcare.co.uk) — including the readiness check, the answer pages, or any paid service — you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
1. What you can use the site for
- Personal or professional information gathering about AI in adult social care
- Assessing your own service against the published standard
- Sharing links to the site with colleagues
- Citing our published outputs in your own work, with attribution
2. What you cannot use the site for
- Republishing our content in whole or substantial part without written permission
- Using our content as your own commercial product
- Automated scraping or bulk downloading beyond fair reading
- Any purpose that violates UK, EU or US law
- Representing our advisory outputs as formal legal advice or as a conformity assessment
3. The standard, the check, the answer pages
These are advisory. They do not constitute:
- Legal advice — consult a solicitor for legal opinion
- A conformity assessment under Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 — Sovereign Chain Ltd is not a Notified Body under Article 31 of that Regulation
- Medical, safeguarding, or care advice about a specific person
- A substitute for CQC-published guidance or fundamental standards
They are structured operational guidance intended to help providers prepare for AI adoption in a way that is likely to align with emerging regulatory expectations. Use them as an input to your own judgement, not as a substitute for it.
4. Paid services
Where you engage us for paid services (gap analysis, workshop) a separate scope-of-work applies. Standard commercial terms:
- Fees are invoiced on scope confirmation, payable within 14 days
- Written deliverables are your property to use internally; republication requires permission
- Refunds available within 7 days of scope confirmation if we haven't started work
- UK jurisdiction (England and Wales)
5. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability to you for any use of this site or paid service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £100 where no payment has been made. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
6. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version is always at this URL. Material changes will be notified by email to registered users at least 14 days before taking effect.
7. Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
